Qur’an competitions have emerged as a popular and effective way to encourage children learn and excel. Through our Qur’an competitions, we aim at promoting excellence among children in learning the Qur’an.

Memorization (Hifz), Recitation (Tajweed), and Understanding the Meanings are three categories of our Quran competitions. Each of these categories, cater to multiple skill levels, allowing children of different ages and abilities to participate and excel.

Participants are evaluated on their Qur’anic learning and skills by a panel of qualified judges. The judges assess the participants’ performance based on specific criteria, on accuracy, fluency, and pronunciation. While each participant is recognized, the top performers in each category are rewarded.

How it is Organized

1.       An appropriate curriculum for each age group for every competition category is set.
2.       Clear guidelines and criteria for judging are provided.
3.       Support, resources and guidance (such as study materials, workshops, references etc.) are provided to help children prepare for the competition.
4.       To create an encouraging, positive and supportive atmosphere that celebrates every child’s performance and achievements, regardless of their ranking in the competition, each child receives a certificate of participation.
5.       Winning in a Quran competition is a significant achievement. A Ceremony with all participants is held to recognize the winners in each category and each age group to motivate those who did not win in a particular competition to aim high for the next one.
